Normally, people think voters select the candidates they vote for due to trust. We disagree; if you want to know what is a greater primary motivator, it is pain. People vote for what they are against more than what they are for. In the case of Donald J Trump (R) the pendulum has swung, and he has more detractors than he has supporters, and this is evident from the low approval numbers published in the article above.
