On their face, we will say, NO! Unless something magical transpired of which we know nothing about, there is no way Peggy Flanagan (D-MN), as a candidate for the US Senate, has secured walkaway numbers from Michele Tafoya (R-MN).
First reason is that Peggy is not that universally likeable. Second, she carries baggage from the Tim Walz (D-MN) administration. Third, Michele Tafoya is a local celebrity.
We point out the final item because of the impact in 1998 and the victory of Jesse Ventura (RP).
The best advice for DFLers is to hold your nose & vote for Flanagan.
