Minnesota Report
Last night, Rep Samakab Hussein (DFL-65A, St Paul) had a birthday fundraising event at the Alliance Soccer Stadium. The co-host list was solid, and one unnamed guest fired up the crowd: U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN). As she said during her speech, she was advocating for the DFL ticket from A-Z, from herself to the State Auditor candidate Zack Filipovich (DFL).
The rest of the lineup included Lt Governor candidate Ben Schier (DFL), Attorney General Keith Ellison (DFL), Congresswoman Betty McCollum (D-MN04), Senate Majority Leader Erin Murphy (DFL-64, St Paul), Sen John Hoffman (DFL-36, Brooklyn Park), House Leader Zach Stephenson (DFL -36A, Coon Rapids), and Filipovich.
