Minnesota Report
We have received a couple of images from a Checks & Balances supporter who sent us their letter from Governor Tim Walz (DFL-MN). In spite of these no longer being called Walz Checks, this letter makes them appear to be.
The small amount of $487 is a far cry from the original proposal of $1,000/person, but because the legislature only appropriated a fixed amount and the number of respondents determined the the pool of recipients the number comes up far short of expectation.
