The selection of Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) as the Vice-Presidential choice by Vice-President Kamala Harris (D) will be quite significant on the campaign trail. Walz stock seemed to rise last week, when he associated Sen JD Vance (R-OH), Donald J Trump (R) and the Republican Party as being weird.
His words went viral, and became a commonly used term by all of the Democratic surrogates. The variety of his credentials as the Chair of the National Governors Association, a veteran, a former Congressman, Social Studies Teacher and Football Coach, visionary, and due to his successful Progressive political agenda, which puts family first and elevates women to a position of significance, are likely reasons for the selection. We understand he has shown his genial nature affability at various times at the White House. He has embraced the Hubert Humphrey II concept of the Happy Warrior.
We will emphasize, our articles supporting Walz as a viable candidate for a return to Washington DC. His ability to appeal to the rural and blue collar voters, hunters, fisherpersons and just common folk is his secret weapon.
We look forward to the debate between him and Vance, where he should mop the stage with him.
