Minnesota Report

In spite of recuperating at home, and referenced in the speech by Governor Tim Walz (DFL-MN), Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic (DFL-60, Minneapolis) released the following statement in response to the Governor’s State of the State Address Wednesday Evening.

The underlying premise is the line she used and the Governor both used.

The End of Gridlock is Allowing Legislature, Governor To Keep Promises, Get Important Things Done For Minnesotans

“When this year began, Minnesotans told us clearly they were tired of gridlock and inaction on issues important to the success of our state. They elected a DFL Governor, and DFL majorities in  both the House and Senate to lead – and we have done just that.  Together, we’ve delivered tax cuts, expanded freedoms, lowered costs for families and businesses, and successfully pushed for safe communities, strong schools, and a healthy climate. In the coming weeks, we will deliver a balanced budget that helps family budgets and improves the lives of people and communities across the state.  The state of the state is strong and we are pushing to make it stronger.”
