Minnesota Report

Despite the “No Sour Grapes Rule,” Mike Lindell (R-MN), the Donald J Trump (R)-endorsed MY Pillow Guy, could and should continue his run for Governor. FYI, what the “No Sour Grapes Rule” is: because all candidates for office file at the same time, whether it is a Primary contest or the General Election, this precludes an Independent candidacy after the fact.

Yes, we know he is mounting a reelection effort to prove how badly he lost.

Here’s an idea, Lindell can continue his gubernatorial campaign and, because Minnesota is a partisan based political electoral system. in 1994, future Governor Arne Carlson (IR-MN) did a variation of this in fact, because of the late exit of John Grundseth (IR-MN) there were concerns about Carlson’s candidacy getting the requisite votes, so they printed off small stickers to place over Grundseth’s name or the Write-In candidate block.

If the Lindell sycophants, these wannabe change agents can foster an effort, to the detriment of the Lisa Demuth (R-13A, Cold Spring) campaign, which only results in a greater landslide for US Senator Amy Klobuchar’s (D-MN) campaign.
