Minnesota Party DFL Chair Ken Martin has just been elected to lead the National Democratic Party. He bested his opposition, which included neighboring state Wisconsin State Party Chair Ben Wikler and former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley with a 57.5% of the 428 ballots cast.
As one of the voiced to stand in opposition to Donald J Trump (R) we anticipate to will be atall order, but one in which Martin is well prepared for. He has been the Chair of the DNC’s State Chairs and has relationships build from sea to shining sea, and we expect he will cultivate those relationships into Democratic wins all across the nation.
With Trump and the Oligarchs as his targets, he will need to sleep with one eye open, and his social media assets will need to be steeled for vicious personal attacks, fraudulent claims and blatant lies. As outgoing Chair Jaime Harrison’s words ring as a clarion call through what he said at he start of the meeting, “The other party is about fear, fraud and fascism,” its time to put the MAGA Party and is sycophants to the sword of Truth and Justice in the American Way.
