If Trump Investigations Were Valid, Which They Were, Why is There a Discussion of Repayment?

Yesterday, discussions began about the Justice Department reimbursing Donald J Trump (R) $230 million for his legal costs defending himself in federal prosecutions. He lies again to the public, saying, “Well, I guess they (Justice Department) probably owe me a lot of money for that, probably. That’s true…But as far as all of the litigation, everything, yeah, they probably owe me a lot of money. But if I get money from our country, I’ll do something nice with it like to give it to charity or give it to the White House, where we restore the White House. And we’re doing a good job. As you know, the ballroom is under construction.”

So, this is where he will make his contribution to the East Wing Ballroom. Again, not any of his money, just ours.
