National, Virginia & New Jersey Report
With the mid-term election occurring in the Commonwealth of Virginia for its House of Delegates and Senate, along with the General Assembly and Senate elections in New Jersey, we will witness the impact of Donald J Trump (R). Since this will be the first election since redistricting, with Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin (R) striving for a Republican sweep and New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy (D-NJ) seeking to retain Democratic control this election could be telling.
If Youngkin fails to deliver his future prospects are not shiny and if Murphy prevails it could spell trouble for Republicans next election year. Since these are tea leaves elections for what is forthcoming, it might be, very interesting to quote Arte Johnson from the bushes.
