On Monday, Governor Tim Walz (DFL-MN) said what he expected could pass early was Frontline Worker Pay and Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund replenishment and now there is a bill. HF3007 Authored by Majority Leader Ryan Winkler (DFL-46A, Golden Valley).
This bill has these two items, but also Family & Medical Leave and Earned Safe and Sick Time. This is an example of either a deft strategy of a poison pill.
