As we listen to US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA20) rationales for limiting the National Debt, we wonder where was his pushback against Donald J Trump (R). His constant critique is disingenuous and warrants specific context. Trump ran up an estimated deficit of $6.6 trillion in four years, compared to Barack Obama incurred $6.781 trillion over his eight years in office, and George W Bush (R) racked up $3.293 trillion during his two terms in office.
The way McCarthy continues to demagogue the issue is in our mind reminiscent of Beaker on the Muppets who never really said anything, but constantly sounds the same. If this comparison is apt, it warrants a meme. We also believe his support crew should have their own emulations.
