ICYMI: The New York Times has an excellent Election Map showing the results by precinct 2016 and 2020. The color scheme shows clearly the changes when you flip back and forth the different areas of the state. Yes, former Vice-President Joe Biden (D) handily beat Donald J Trump (R) 52.40% to 45.28% compared to the margin in 2016 where former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton beat him by only 1.48%, but there wasn’t the Bernie backlash or 8.7% of third-party support.
Our state may be redder in color, but also there were fewer voters in those areas, but a higher concentration.
