Here is what our Checks & Balances Publisher Shawn Towle personally experienced.
Yesterday at approximately 4:30 pm, heard a car alarm and then heard shrill whistles. ICE came to the fourplex I live in St Paul. They had already taken my neighbor Edgar Reyes, a Salvadoran who has two children Isaiah (10) and Christopher (9). A teacher from the boys school, was called by Edgar and she came here to make sure they were safe, she then called the maternal grandmother and Mr Reyes’ lawyer.
I shared the name of my neighbor with a lawyer who was present, and waited for the grandmother of the boys to arrive. The mother is a native Minnesotan, although separated from the father.
Since only the boys were home at the time and I came out on the balcony after the actions were already underway, I don’t know if a warrant had been served and since the boys often fail to lock the door, all I saw was three agents on my balcony, five SUVs around 15 ICE Agents coming from their vehicles

The number of observers equaled the number if ICE Agents and since Edgars vehical wasn’t visible, I expect he was taken offsite.
