National & Minnesota Report
In May of 2019, in the midst of the COVID 19 Pandemic, we were an early voice for Governor Tim Walz (DFL-MN) for President, should President Joe Biden (D) decide not o see reelection. Biden in his campaign had offered himself as a bridge to the future and the possibilities of a single -term was then a legitimate possibility. Walz for President. In 2023, the Daily Beast picked up the beat with Minnesota’s Gov. Tim Walz Is the Anti-DeSantis. Dems Should Take Note.
Walz stands up well in the field of mentioned candidates for the Vice-President’s position.

Has shown a record of accomplishments from making MN a sanctuary state for abortion services, provided breakfast to all students, significantly cut child poverty, increased affordable housing, an expansion of voter and worker’s rights, and legalized marijuana.
Additionally, something not being rigorously focused upon but something significant in his and his wife Gwen’s familial history, is the use of in vitro fertilization (IVF) for his two children. This specific issue places Minnesota right inline with the abortion and women’s reproductive rights debate.
Now, as Vice-President Kamala Harris (D) dons the mantle of the Democratic Party’s leadership, she too is being discussed as having turned her eyes toward the Midwest. All of the weekend political shows, were showing clips of Walz response to Donald J Trump (R) and US Senator JD Vance’s (R-OH) rally in St Cloud. Walz further discussed his remarks on State of the Union on CNN explaining why Trump, his associates and other Republicans are weird. This Democratic governor started calling Trump, Vance ‘weird.’ Hear why. It started when people dredged up Vance’s comment about childless cat ladies running the government.
The latest is the resurrection of old podcasts and television shows where Vance equates people without children to crazy cat ladies, will bring about the wrath of cat owners. The fact, Trump suggested people ingest bleach during COVID, is an example of weird. His cronies, like Mike Lindell called for taking Ivermectin, which is a treatment for parasitic diseases, not a viral disease. He constantly, goes off on irrational tirades, which may show his own mental capacity slipping. The constant repetitiveness of Trump–which we have frequently called attention to–is a potential indicator.
A Trump continues to rant from podium to podium, he sounds less and less interesting and without Biden to use as a punching bag this election has taken a significant turn.
